What We Are Doing.

Back To School Project
Some parents have expressed the burden of buying school supplies for their children, such as uniforms, pencils, notebooks, shoes, sneakers, sharpeners, and erasers. Due to minimal government support for public educational institutions in the country, parents bearing the brunt of these costs are sometimes forced to withdraw their children from school. This situation hampers school enrollment and hinders efforts to educate Liberia's children.
With the reopening of schools, OBTL is seeking support to distribute back-to-school kits to 850 primary students across five underprivileged rural schools in Bong and Lofa Counties (three in Lofa, two in Bong).

Annual Bench Project
For just US$40, five students can receive a school bench or desk to facilitate their learning.
One Bench at a Time Liberia (OBTL) primarily aims to distribute benches/ chairs and other essential supplies to underprivileged rural schools that lack the resources to furnish their classrooms with adequate seating for students.
